Faith In Action Church was founded by Apostle
Marvin Smith in January of 1992. The church began in the living
room of his house and that was the seed for the beginning of the
ministry. From there, it moved to a hotel in downtown Norfolk with
only his family as members. Even though Faith In Action started
small, Apostle Smith was not moved by what he saw. He despised not
small beginnings.
Faith In Action Church came to its present location, 4603 Cape Henry Ave. Norfolk , VA after several years of renting buildings. We presently have over four hundred members and are growing weekly. Faith In Action also has a weekly radio ministry every Tuesday at 3:45 pm on station 940, WKGM, a TV commercial on Sunday mornings and soon to be on TV with a 30 minute weekly ministry. |
